SATURN IN PISCES TRANSIT

Saturn

Imagine it’s your day off and you’re snuggled up in bed. The temperature is perfect, the air flows quietly, and almost nothing is amiss. Your alarm isn’t going off today – oh no – it’s your day to sleep in. Everything is peaceful until you wake up with a jolt to the loudening rumble of the garbage man’s truck coming down your street. Only then do you remember it’s trash pickup day and your cans are sitting ever so inconveniently on the side of your home where they won’t be picked up. Now you will have to physically climb the trash can and hope you can squish enough down to fit what you will surely gather until next week.

Saturn is the skeleton – the framework of the way we operate both literally and figuratively. Our lives are lived by our design, where what we do today has the potential to have a lasting impact in the weeks ahead or years to come. There are times in each of our stories where we are confronted with a series of choices that could alter the course of our life path. Depending on what we’ve learned we are guided towards experiences that will teach us to choose differently.

Sometimes, we are guided to revisit themes that we need more practice mastering. To change the way we live, we start with our routines and where we spend our energy. We can’t accept the lesson until we discipline ourselves to respect the daily grind. Through routine and ownership of our pitfalls we reap the rewards of earned wisdom. Trusting yourself means following through on your commitments. If you slip up, get back to it. This isn’t about perfection. You can’t be a track star if you’re not training regularly. You won’t overcome addiction if you’re not working sobriety every day. Cash flow without discipline? Won’t happen!

Saturn’s structure in Pisces requires that our most personal beliefs be under revision. It’s not to say that you can’t keep what’s flowing, it’s about recognizing what’s real and what’s an illusion. Saturn in Pisces pulls your dreams into focus and tests whether they have merit. Can you stay regulated and grounded while you pursue your long-term goals? Can you reach the finish line when your beliefs aren’t the same as when you started? Is this really what you wanted or was the fantasy just an escape?

Possibilities

Aries Rising//12th House

You have always been good at finding your own way through. Self-reliance is admirable but sometimes you need out of the echo chamber. You aren’t stuck, just overburdened by beliefs that no longer serve you. Building trust takes time – learn to soften yourself into being open about how you’re really doing. You will believe again soon. Don’t force the outcome just because feelings are hard to sit with. It’s hard because it’s supposed to be. How can you continue to connect with others without absorbing blame?

Taurus Rising//11th House

Talk is cheap if it’s not what you really mean. Sometimes we lose sight of our vision when there are many channels on the airwaves and the signal remains unclear. Saturn here makes us question the stories we tell ourselves and others about our lives. Getting crystal clear about what we want requires us to examine who we surround ourselves with. If your bandwidth is limited maybe your environment is taxing you. How do you continue to chase after your dreams without getting distracted by the needs of others?

Gemini Rising//10th House

You’ve had plenty of chances to demonstrate what you know. Your strategy has always been to dive into what piques your interests and, in the past, you have been rewarded for being comfortable learning new things. Now is the time to challenge yourself to dig deeper into discipline. Getting serious about where your life is headed requires picking something and sticking with it. What systems can you create to keep yourself moving forward when your goals are unclear?

Cancer Rising//9th House

You’ve learned how to read the signs of the universe and to summon them at will. One can only be reassured so much though. Our beliefs are being tested. We are learning to trust ourselves again to create the itinerary of our own adventure. Only by faith is our belief system truly balanced. Speaking our truth into the void sometimes breaks the spell. Don’t be afraid to voice your concerns. Whatever beliefs break now were meant to be rewritten. Where have you been afraid to challenge your own beliefs?

Leo Rising//8th House

Relational entrapment is a real thing. There are times when people we love need things that we know we can provide – but we know we shouldn’t. Loyalty becomes entangled with enabling. It’s not a bailout if it’s happening all the time. Dependence is a two-way street. Boundaries blur when we occupy too many roles in someone’s life. What needs to change is what we allow to pull our focus away from the bigger picture. What boundaries can you place today that would redefine what burdens are yours to carry?

Virgo Rising//7th House

There is no shame in working behind the scenes. If anything, it frees you up from the obligation of being perceived while you’re making mistakes. Here and now, you’ve been allowing others to be in the spotlight while you pull strings. In a way, remaining incognito allows you to avoid responsibility for where the relationship is going. You aren’t the only one who sometimes needs escape. How can you release your fears around being seen so that you can carry the load of responsibility in your partnerships?

Libra Rising//6th House

Sleeping in isn’t a problem when your body is asking for rest. Small daily frustrations will become harder to manage the more you avoid your own limitations. Discipline doesn’t mean pushing yourself; it requires consistency. When you anticipate your needs, you can plan your recovery instead of completely shutting during a critical period. You may be allowing yourself to slip too far in other areas that now require you to regain control. Where can you restructure your life to allow for periods of rest vs. periods of focus?

Scorpio Rising//5th House

Your relationship with pleasure can look different than most. Seeing what’s real and raw not only fascinates you but inspires you to discover new ways to enjoy yourself. There is something reassuring in seeing others finding joy despite their own troubles. Secrecy is always going to be enticing. Patterns that require investigation can sometimes pull you too far into the details. Differentiating between fascination and fixation becomes necessary to move forward.  How can you repurpose those habits that are doing more harm than good?

Sagittarius Rising//4th House

Your life experience has truly shaped the way you maintain your own beliefs. You’ve seen enough to write your own religion – no arguments there. There is something to be said for the other unexplored corners of your mind. You’ve held up your end of the bargain when it comes to sharing what you’ve learned, but now you’re being asked to remember your foundations. You’ve forgotten to tend to your own faith. How can you remember where you’ve been without losing sight of who you are when no one is watching?

Capricorn Rising//3rd House

The right thing at the wrong time becomes the wrong thing. You’ve prayed enough and now you wait for answers that don’t seem forthcoming. You’ve become too attached to some version of reality that leaves little room for possibility. Your mind doesn’t usually wander this far, which is challenging you to rediscover footing you never lose.  Comparison is the thief of joy and lately you’ve become engrossed in lives you aren’t meant to live. Where have you allowed yourself to become distracted by your own fantasizing?

Aquarius Rising//2nd House

You want to show others that they deserve to be loved no matter what. Most of the time, you do this naturally, by living exactly as you are. There are moments when you feel the need to prove it by tying your own stability to others. Surrendering the rhythm that sustains you makes you forget that you deserve the same unconditional love. You can’t keep pouring from an empty cup. How can you continuously remind yourself of your worth when your stability falters?

Pisces Rising//1st House

You have been under supreme pressure to live up to who you’re meant to become. Each favorable outcome is reaffirming your belief in yourself but it’s coming at a high cost. You may lose the version of yourself that fought so hard to get you here. You don’t need to prove your growth is real. Just allow the disillusionment to open your eyes to who you’ve really become and so you can build towards who you genuinely want to be. What is your greatest hope for your future that you can take action on today?
